Dan's Prayers for Choir Practice

Dear Lord,
It was for awhile
a wonderful
day out today:
the sun lit the
mountains,
revealing them in
snowbound majesty,
and the air
had a wonderful freshness
and clarity
for all its chill.
Just as we could see our mountains
with breathtaking clarity,
so do we know that You are
with us always.
You are with us in a beautiful sight,
a measure of music well-preformed,
a work of art vibrant with colour,
an expressive word.
We do not  always experience clarity in our lives,
but when we do it is wonderful.
Help us , we pray, Lord,
to know You and to feel Your presence
with perfect clarity as we live in
the footsteps of Your son, Jesus.
