NORTHWOOD SERVES DINNER on Saturday, November 8. Come join a team of volunteers at the Oak Avenue Neighbourhood Hub (The Hub), where we prepare and serve a full dinner for some hungry folks in the community). The Hub is located at the site of Amazing Grace United Church at 12740 102 Avenue, Surrey.
On average between 100 - 150 men, women and children of all ages come to the dinners. Set-up and cooking begins at 2pm and dinner is served at 4:30pm. Normally cleanup is done and we are heading home by 6:45pm. This is a wonderful opportunity for volunteers of all ages to serve others and share the love of Christ. New volunteers are always welcome!
