Dear Lord,
We live with unpredictable events every day; we try to predict the weather and end up with uncertainty; we try to predict the financial markets and end up with unpleasant surprises. We wonder what tomorrow has in store, and often it yields something completely different from what we imagined. In Your house, Lord, we find ourselves singing with friends, creating joyous praise from notes and rhythms, and on Sundays we find our church family following a pleasingly familiar pattern of worship. We are thankful for the welcome structure that You lend us, Lord, a framework for our lives that supports and guides us in this ever-changing world. We are grateful for all Your blessings. Amen.
