Syrian Refugees- Northwood

A committee lead by Mary Duncan and Maryse Ridley to aid Syrian Refugees has been formed at Northwood United Church. At this point the committee is looking into the possiblility of co sponsoring a family coming to Surrey to live with family members here. The committee has had discussions with the government representative and are awaiting their response. In the meantime we pray for speedy action and safe travels for this and the many other families/people struggling to survive in the terrible conditions within the refugee camps. In true Northwood United Church tradition, we continue to strive to be the hands and feet of Christ in our world.
