A longtime friend of Jazz Vespers in the Valley co-ordinator Ben MacRae, a member of the jazz community and Brentwood Presbyterian Church, and respected Vancouver-based traditional jazz trumpeter Kayden Gorden leads his band and offers of his musical acumen as we focus on the final days of lent that lead into Holy Week and Easter Sunday. Jazz Vespers in the Valley starts on select Sundays each month at 3:30pm. Typically, our services last for an hour, and in typical Northwood fashion, we offer a time of conversation over homebaked goods as served by our kitchen volunteers. The minimum suggested donation is 10$, or pay-what-you can. Please see the poster for further details!
