May is “Asian Heritage Month” in Canada This morning’s service takes time to acknowledge the long and rich history of Asian Canadians, their achievements, and contributions to the growth and prosperity of Canada. It also provides an opportunity to celebrate the diverse beauty and wisdom of Asian cultural traditions. It is a special honour to welcome back Rev. Yoko Kihara to co-lead this service. Northwood was Rev. Yoko’s first ministry in Canada upon her arrival from Japan in 2005.
