Linda Szentes

Linda has been associated with the United Church for many years, most recently as a church musician at the United Churches of Langley. Linda has a Bachelor of Music degree from UBC, as well as an ARCT Voice Performance Diploma and a Royal Conservatory of Music, Grade 10 Piano Certificate. 

Linda is a versatile musician who loves performing and supporting others in hermusic-making. She has been a lifetime advocate of choral music; she has sung in choirs, both professional (Vancouver Cantata Singers) and amateur. Currently she sings with the Lyric Singers, based in Surrey. 

She is also an accomplished singer; she has performed as a soloist with orchestras, within choirs, at many churches throughout the lower mainland including Dunbar Heights UC, Holy Trinity in New West, and the Danish Lutheran Church of Vancouver. 

Linda loves working with singers and instrumentalist to provide special music for services. Besides her love for sacred music, Linda has a passion for jazz; she is the vocalist and bandleader for Linda Szentes and Jazzlinks .Linda is thrilled to be given the opportunity to support musical activity and collaboration at Northwood.
