Northwood is delighted to work with all couples in creating a unique wedding ceremony that is reflective of your love and joy.
Typically, our minister meets with the couple to design and conduct the wedding ceremony on several occasions, attends the wedding rehearsal, and conducts the ceremony. If for special reasons another officiant is desired, this person may act as a co-officiant with our minister. Arrangements well in advance of the service must be made for this co-officiant to meet with our minister to ensure the ceremony can be conducted within the United Church of Canada’s theological framework.
Our modern-styled sanctuary offers comfortable chairs, a raised chancel area, and can seat approximately 300 people.
We strive to keep the cost of the wedding affordable for couples. Our fee is inclusive of all personnel and a building usage fee. Our current wedding fee is $1200.The wedding fee is normally paid in two parts. A non-refundable deposit of $100 is required in order to formally book the date and time of your wedding. The balance is payable one month prior to the day of your wedding.
